Abilities
Mercenary
After every battle it costs 3 gold. If you can't pay, it fights its next battle at -2 power.
Strike
Main attack, melee. Deals its power as physical damage to the front enemy.
Also on: Berserker, Cutpurse, Grove Warden, Guildmaster, Martyr, Paladin, Peddler, Shieldbearer, Skullsplitter, Squire, Thornweaver, Warchief, Wildheart
Brace
End of each round. Regains 1 armor per level (1, 2, 3), up to its starting armor or its Brace amount, whichever is higher. A hero with no armor still braces.
Also on: Crusader, Grove Warden, Shieldbearer, Squire
Pay To Win
Start of each round. Pays 1 gold for +1 power.
How to use Sellsword
Best position: front or middle.
Three power and 8 health at level 1 make it a real early-game threat. Few heroes can match that on the first floors.
Mercenary costs 3 gold after each battle. If you can't pay, it fights its next battle at -2 power, so factor that cost into your spending.
Pay To Win at level 3 spends 1 gold at the start of each round for +1 power, which makes a large purse extremely dangerous in long fights.
