Heroes / Moneylender
Pays you interest after every win and weakens the front enemy, though it never attacks directly.

Investor
After each won battle you gain 1 gold for every 10 gold you hold.
Mend
End of each round. Heals the friend with the lowest health (below max) by its power.
Also on: Acolyte, Bard, Minstrel, Oracle, Paladin, Thornweaver
Tithe
Reaction. Each time it heals a unit, you gain 1 gold.
How to use Moneylender
Best position: back.
Investor pays 1 gold per 10 gold held after each won battle. Picked up early with some gold saved, it can pay back many times over.
Enfeeble weakens the front enemy each turn, reducing its power for a couple of rounds.
At level 2 it adds Mend, and Tithe at level 3 pays 1 gold for each heal. It adds little direct damage, so don't field too many support heroes alongside it.
Good teammates
-
Guildmaster
Interest grows the purse that Hoard and Midas Shield use.
-
Bounty Hunter
A bigger purse means more Gilded Blade damage.
Tier by stage of the run
