How to use Bard
Best position: middle or back.
Battle Cry gives every ally +1 power at the start of each fight, even at level 1. On a team of attackers, that adds up fast.
Crescendo at level 3 gives the whole team +1 power every round, with no limit. In a long fight it adds more and more damage across the whole team.
Bard itself has no main attack, so pair it with heroes that attack often rather than with other supports.
Good teammates
-
Warchief
Two sources of Battle Cry stack, and Warpath adds even more on kills.
-
Sellsword
A hard-hitting attacker turns extra power into immediate damage.
Tier by stage of the run
Early B · Middle A · Late A. Solid team buffs, especially useful against monsters on later floors.
