Heroes / Acolyte
A plain healer that does nothing else until level 3, when Overflow turns extra healing into armor.
Stats by level
| Level | power | health | armor | speed |

Abilities
Mend
End of each round. Heals the friend with the lowest health (below max) by its power.
Also on: Bard, Minstrel, Moneylender, Oracle, Paladin, Thornweaver
Second Wind
End of each round. Heals itself by its power.
Overflow
End of each round. Heals the most injured friend by its power. All of this unit's healing (Overflow, Mend, Second Wind and others) that goes beyond max health becomes armor.
How to use Acolyte
Best position: back.
Acolyte has no attack at all, so one in the lineup means one less source of damage. Take it when the team already hits hard enough and keeps losing to slow attrition.
Healing scales with power, so team power buffs help it more than you might expect.
Level 3 is the real goal. Overflow adds a second heal every round, and any healing past full health becomes armor.
Good teammates
-
Warchief
Battle Cry raises the power that its heals scale with.
-
Wildheart
A big health pool in front gives Mend and Overflow plenty to work with.
Tier by stage of the run
Early C · Middle B · Late B. Healing alone rarely wins fights, though it improves with levels.
