Heroes / Necromancer
Weakens enemies and is awkward to remove, then hands out armor as enemies fall.

Abilities
Enfeeble
Main. Gives the front enemy Weakened (or refreshes it).
Also on: Assassin, Moneylender, Oracle
Retribution
Reaction. Each time an enemy kills it, deals 2× its power as magical damage to the killer. Fires again if it revives and is killed again. Deaths from its own statuses or fatigue don't trigger it.
Also on: Martyr
Drain Life
Main attack, melee. Deals its power as magical damage to the front enemy, then heals itself by its power (no heal if the attack is blocked).
Also on: Blood Witch, Warlock
Relentless
Reaction. The first time it dies, it comes back with 2 health.
Also on: Martyr
Bone Collector
Reaction. Each time an enemy dies, the living friend with the lowest health (itself included, front-most on a tie) gains 2 armor.
How to use Necromancer
Best position: middle.
Enfeeble lowers the front enemy's power, and Retribution punishes whoever kills it.
Level 2 is a large step up, adding Drain Life for damage and healing plus Relentless for a second life.
Bone Collector at level 3 gives 2 armor to your weakest ally each time an enemy dies, which helps most against large enemy teams.
Good teammates
-
Warchief
More kills mean more armor from Bone Collector.
-
Archmage
Area damage finishes several enemies close together, triggering Bone Collector repeatedly.
Tier by stage of the run
Early B · Middle A · Late A. Slow early, then solid but unremarkable.
