Champions / Morrow
No one has seen his face. His crow has, and it isn't telling.
Sacrifice rooms never curse the hero that receives the ability, and the back enemy starts Weakened and Marked. The Altar can no longer remove curses.
Edict, Ability and Drawback
Whispered Secrets
The Sacrifice altar never curses the hero that receives the ability.
Carrion Crow
Start of battle. The back enemy is Weakened (loses 1 power each upkeep for 2 turns) and Marked (the next attack that damages it deals double).
Shrouded
The Altar can only bless; it can't remove curses.
How to play Morrow
Morrow removes the main downside of Sacrifice rooms. If one is on your way and you have a spare hero, it becomes a very good deal.
They don't appear on every run, though, so don't go far out of your way or build your whole plan around one.
Carrion Crow makes the back enemy take double damage from the next damaging attack, so back-line attackers work well here.
Heroes that suit Morrow
-
Bounty Hunter
Bolt targets the back enemy, the one that gets Marked.
-
Ranger
Another Bolt user to take advantage of the Mark.
-
Pyromancer
Focuses its damage on the back enemy too.
